Cancellation, Refund and Good's Return

Cancellation and refunds

 

Without limiting any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act, all goods to be returned must have a Goods Return Authority issued by us. Please contact info@mypartybox.co.nz for Goods Return Authority. The issue of a Goods Return Authority does not guarantee that we will accept the return.

  • Changing your mind / purchasing the wrong product by mistake:

Without limiting any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act, changing your mind will not be accepted for refund or store credit. Please choose your purchase carefully.  

  • Products damaged in transit:

If your product has been damaged during transit to your delivery address, you must refuse to accept the delivery and contact us within 24 hours of delivery in order to be eligible for a replacement, credit or refund. we will replace your product (if it is available) at our cost or issue a credit / refund. We will require a photo of damage product(s) to provide to our carrier provider for claim of damage. We may require you to send the damaged goods back to us at our cost within 7-days of purchase/delivery.

  • Products that are incorrectly supplied:

If you have been accidentally supplied the wrong product, My Party Box NZ Ltd will supply the correct product (where it is available) at our cost or issue a credit/refund. In this circumstance, you maybe required to return the wrong product at our cost within 7-days of purchase/delivery and the incorrect product supplied must be in a resalable/unused condition.

  • Products that are faulty upon arrival
    • Except for any type of Latex balloon, If the product you received is faulty upon arrival or where the Consumer Guarantees Act applies, we will replace your product, or issue a credit / refund. Without limiting any right you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act, you will need to send us a photo of the faulty product within 7 days of purchase / delivery so that we can confirm it’s a fault product.
    • For Foil Balloon, you are required to strictly follow the product inflation instruction to avoid any damaging causing by wrong or over inflation. This circumstance will not fulfil the criteria of clause 7.4.1, therefore damaged product(s) is not refundable.
  • In any of the above scenarios, a credit, refund or replacement will be made within 14 days from the day we issued you the Goods Return Authority and receive the returned goods

  • Latex Balloon

For Latex balloon provided in any party box/Balloon garland package, due to the nature of this product, we are not able to test whether a product is faulty or not, we will not provide refund of any faulty latex balloon, instead, we always provide extra latex balloon in each party box/Balloon garland package to cover any faulty product.
